26 Aug / An MIT research team has invented a device that enables the visually impaired “to read”
The FingerReader, developed by researchers at MIT, is a wearable device that gives the blind the ability to read in real time. The device works by allowing blind people to move their fingers over words on a page, while the device reads the text back to them. This feature looks at how the device is offering the visually impaired a chance to live fuller, richer, and more productive lives.
